Our Operations and Supply Chains

Removal Companies Soho provides removals and related services, working with a range of suppliers and subcontractors including vehicle providers, packing materials suppliers, storage facilities, and labour agencies. We recognise that risks can exist at multiple levels of our supply chain, particularly where subcontracted or temporary labour is involved or where goods are sourced internationally.

We are committed to identifying, assessing, and mitigating these risks through appropriate due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and clear contractual expectations with our suppliers.

Supplier Standards and Audit Processes

We require our suppliers and subcontractors to operate in accordance with all applicable labour, employment, and human rights laws, and to align with our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. As part of our supplier onboarding and renewal processes, we assess the suitability of suppliers with regard to their labour practices and ethical standards.

Where appropriate, we conduct audits or request evidence of compliance, such as policies, training records, or certifications that demonstrate effective control of modern slavery risks. We reserve the right to carry out site visits or commission independent assessments where we consider the risk profile to be higher.

If a supplier is unable or unwilling to demonstrate adequate measures to prevent modern slavery, we will take proportionate steps which may include corrective action plans, closer monitoring, suspension of work, or termination of the relationship.

Reporting Channels and Whistleblowing

Removal Companies Soho encourages all employees, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to report any concerns or suspicions relating to modern slavery or human trafficking in connection with our business. Concerns may include indications of forced labour, withholding of identity documents, restricted freedom of movement, or exploitation of vulnerable individuals.

Reports can be made to line managers or senior management within the company, or through established internal reporting channels. We will treat all concerns seriously and, where possible, confidentially. No person raising a concern in good faith will face retaliation or adverse treatment as a result of speaking up.

All allegations or indications of modern slavery will be investigated promptly and, where appropriate, reported to the relevant authorities. We will cooperate fully with any official investigations and take swift remedial action where required.

Training, Awareness, and Continuous Improvement

We are committed to increasing awareness of modern slavery risks among our staff, particularly those involved in recruitment, procurement, and supplier management. Training and guidance are provided to help employees recognise warning signs and understand how to respond appropriately to concerns.

We continue to review and strengthen our internal policies and procedures to align with evolving best practice, legal requirements, and industry standards.

Annual Review and Approval

This Modern Slavery Statement will be reviewed at least annually to ensure its continued relevance, effectiveness, and alignment with our operational practices and legal obligations. As part of this review, we will evaluate our risk assessments, supplier engagement, incident reporting, and any investigations undertaken during the year.
